Photographers have always had a mental stash of prompts (or let’s be honest - hundreds of screenshots), quietly steering sessions from behind the lens. And for your classic golden-hour portrait in a field? That still works. But in-home sessions are a different story. They're raw, unscripted, and beautifully unpredictable. Every family is different and every space holds its own rhythm. You’re not just directing - you’re responding. You’re waking up the life that’s already there. If you've done an in-home session, you know! So we're not keeping those prompts hidden anymore, we're allowing families to be a part of it.

I designed these cards to be just as much for you as they are for the photographer. You don’t need a photo session to enjoy them. MY WHY


For me, it always starts with connection.

I see the most genuine love and joy at home. The more in-home photography sessions I do, the more I fall in love with them - because each one is completely unique, shaped by that family’s world. A world that keeps changing before you even realize it’s gone.

Which is exactly why it deserves to be photographed.

But let's be honest: it can feel a little awkward at first.

"Someone's coming to take our photos in the house, so just act natural."

Right?

Parents get caught up in the details.

Is the house tidy? Do our outfits work? What are we supposed to do?

But kids don't overthink it. They play. They show off their favorite toys. They get goofy. And before long, they're completely themselves.

The tantrums, the meltdowns, the laughter, the cuddles, the chaos - they all belong. Because they're real.

What I've learned is that the best moments happen when families stop trying to perform and simply enjoy being together.

That's why I created these cards.

They're designed to let kids lead the way, spark genuine connection, and remind parents that perfection was never the goal.

And the best part? You don't need a photoshoot to use them.

Whether you're in the middle of a session, taking photos yourself, or simply putting down the screens and spending time together, these cards are an invitation to be present. To play. To connect.
